DILLSBURG – Members of the agricultural industry who live in the 92nd District are invited to a Farmers Breakfast, hosted by Rep. Dawn Keefer (R-York/Cumberland), to be held at Baker’s Restaurant, located at
515 N. U.S. 15 in Dillsburg, from 8-10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11.
During this informative event, those in the agricultural industry will receive an update on issues that impact them. The guest speaker will be former secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and House Majority Leader Sam Hayes.
“Having served six years at the head of the Department of Agriculture, former Leader Hayes holds a wealth of knowledge concerning farming. I look forward to hearing him discuss the agricultural industry of today and what the future holds for it,” Keefer said. “Farmers have a significant and extremely challenging job, one on which we all depend. I encourage all those who work in the industry to attend this free event.”

The 92nd District encompasses part of Cumberland County consisting of the township of Monroe and part of York County consisting of the townships of Carroll, Fairview, Franklin, Monaghan, Newberry, Warrington and Washington and the boroughs of Dillsburg, Franklintown, Goldsboro, Lewisberry and Wellsville.
